NIAAS Updated General Data Protection Regulations May 2018
NIAAS has updated its privacy policy to include the new obligations covered in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect on 25th May 2018
The NIAAS will continue to securely hold the information gathered, and will not share it with anyone outside the society. The information will only be accessible by certain members of the committee and will be used only to inform and alert members of society business.
In summary
1. We will keep your details secure.
2. We will use your details purely for the purpose intended, which is to provide information about society business.
3. We will not share your details with anyone else outside the society for any reason.
You can, of course, unsubscribe from our emails at any time.

3. Email address
It has been decided that we will use an opt-in system (Subscribe from the website).An email was sent to all current members by the Webmaster on 20/5/2018 asking for permission to keep the details listed on our database. Alternatively, a form will be available from the secretary at society meetings. Emailed information regarding society meetings, events etc will only be sent to those who give us their written permission to send this information to their email address.
