Happy New Year! For our first lecture of 2026 we are kicking off with our very own Secretary Stevie Beasant. He will be giving his talk titled “Orion, More Than A Nebula”.
This lecture will be held in our usual venue at Ballyclare High School Lecture Theatre and takes place on Monday 5th January 2026, starting a 8pm sharp!
I don’t need to introduce Stevie to any of our members, but if you are new to us and are coming along for the first time, Stevie is our encyclopaedia of the night sky. This talk is well tried and tested and is a great starting point for anyone getting into the hobby of Astronomy.
Remember to hang about after the meeting for a cup of tea and some good chat…. and if you got anything Astronomical for Christmas, bring it along!
