April 2023 Lecture – Dave Lillis (Limerick) – ‘Where is everybody?’

For our April lecture we are really pleased to welcome Dave Lillis from Limerick Astronomy Club. Dave will be giving us a talk titled ‘Where is everybody?‘.

This talk will take place in our usual venue at Ballyclare High School Lecture theatre, on Monday 3rd April, starting at 8pm sharp.

Dave is a good friend to many members of the NIAAS and it’s great to have him up North to do a talk for us. Dave’s talk is titled ‘Where is everybody?’ and he assures me it isn’t about flying saucers, rather, what are the odds of life existing in the universe, the factors to consider and some scenarios to ponder!

About Dave: Secretary of Limerick Astronomy Society, Dave has been a member since the 1980’s. His main interests are observing and he loves his astro equipment, as you can see in the picture above!

As usual tea and good chat will be available after the lecture, so please stick around and enjoy the company!
